Pobitora Wildlife sanctuary is a wildlife reserve within 38.8 sq.km and consists of flat plains and a hillock. The Pobitora Rhino breeding programme has been so successful that it has the highest concentration of one horned rhinos. Over 200 migratory birds are found here along with other animals like Asiatic Buffalo, Leopard, Wild bear, civet cat and various reptiles.
It is located 55 kms from Guwahati.
Both Jeep ride and elephant safari is available for visitors
